Why are you required to say this anytime you see a woman that you haven't seen in some time? I am getting tired of all the "you look great!"s. I look exactly the fucking same as I did last time you saw me. Move on with your life.
Is it just me? Is this required for men, too?

And, yes, it's a rhetorical question. I know why we feel the need to comment on the appearance of women. It really serves the same function as asking, "how are you?" except you've gone and answered your own question.
